Ideally, an analysis may assume that the system to be analyzed is fully available and that the analysis method provides the desired answer. In practice, however, systems to be analyzed, are only partially available or interact with an environment which is only partially known. Moreover, the tools to be applied often are not completely stand-alone: they may, e.g., require tweaking of parameters in order to adjust precision or efficiency to the application at hand.
